The 3d video works on normal dvd players and normal tvs.
Nothing but the glasses are needed for the effect to work.
The 3d effect is from chromatic aberration.
Red light going thru glass is bent to appear closer than blue light.
Green and yellow appear in the middle creating three layers.
With the glasses on the backround on this page appears to be
a few inches below the text (moving further from the computer will increase
the depth).
The further from the screen the deeper the depth within the picture.
The glasses use Chromadepth Technology(c) made by American Paper Optical.
